About Bodek
How Bodek collects, stores and uses your data — on-device, offline, and in the cloud.
Bodek ("the Company", "the App") operates a digital system for licensed electrical inspectors in Israel. This document explains what data we collect — including while working offline — and how it is stored, processed and protected, in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981.
Full name, email address, licensed electrical inspector license number, and role within your organization.
Login times, sync status and app version. Subscription payments are processed directly by our payment processor, PayMe — credit card details are never stored on Bodek servers.
Bodek is an offline-first application. Every new inspection is saved immediately on your device (IndexedDB) and synced to our cloud servers as soon as a network connection is available. Until synced, the data stays fully under your control on the device and is not transmitted anywhere.
Some of the photos and text you enter may be sent to Google's Gemini AI engine for analysis and to obtain references to relevant sources.
AI answers are an aid only, and are always accompanied by a warning and a source citation — they are not a substitute for the licensed inspector's professional judgment.
We never sell or rent personal information. Data is shared only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service:
Under the Privacy Protection Law, you are entitled to review, correct and request deletion of the personal information held about you. To do so, contact us by email — we will respond within 30 days.
